Join us as WDNR Trout Crew Lead Nate Anderson brings chapter members up-to-date on this past season’s trout habitat projects on Plum Creek and other western Wisconsin streams, including the installation of new stone structures on the Kinni South Fork that are designed to improve trout habitat by flushing excess sand downstream. Also, learn about next season’s major habitat work planned on Lower Cady Creek, as well as ongoing maintenance work to keep prior years’ habitat projects fishable for years to come.
We’ll also learn about this year’s 8 Trout-in-the-Classroom projects, Volunteer Workdays starting up and our first-ever Virtual Conservation Banquet this coming February!
